Son and Sea is on Ambergris Caye, a tiny island off the coast of Mainland Belize in Central America. The camp sits on nearly 500 feet of beach front property located just 1/2 mile from the Coral Reef. The water is crystal clear and filled with a huge variety of sea life.
Upon arrival at the International Airport on the mainland, a small commuter plane ride will take visitors to the Island. From the airstrip in San Pedro, visitors will take a 20 minute boat ride north up the coast of Ambergris Caye to arrive at Son & Sea.
We are 10 miles north of San Pedro town and have no access to public utilities such as electricity and water. Our drinking water is rainwater collected in a cistern and our electricity is produced by solar panels and a generator.
It is very peaceful at Son and Sea with the occasional bike or boat as the only traffic.
